No real progress

I got off my lazy butt and then put my lazy butt back into a seat to open Unreal Engine and start messing around with it. The more I incrementally find out how to use the program the better. I definitely need to seek out more guided tutorials but I wish I could immediately apply that knowledge to my game project. So I remain hesitant…or rather frozen in fear of tackling this massive undertaking.

I HAVE been working on music stuff. I’m more familiar with the programs and instruments I’m working with so when I sit down and mess with them I actually feel like I’m accomplishing something. SO until I get the preliminary work done for unreal engine (UE4) I don’t think I’m going to have positive feelings towards it. It’ll take time to learn something new (as with any new program) and I just have to understand that my precursory knowledge of Gamemaker is the only thing that made my original efforts seem.. effortless. I’d already worked with the program! I already knew all the little quirks to start making a game. I’m coming for YOU UE4, you WILL be MINE.
